The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will conduct the Class 10 board examination twice a year from the 2026–27 academic session. The new system gives students a second opportunity to improve their performance within the same academic year.
The first RBSE Class 10 examination will be conducted as the main board examination in February–March 2027. The second examination, called the remedial examination, will be held in May 2027. The board has not yet announced the exact subject-wise examination dates.
Students who pass the main examination can appear for the remedial examination to improve marks in a maximum of three subjects. For students appearing in both examinations, the higher marks obtained in each subject will be considered while preparing the final Class 10 result.
Students who pass the main examination and do not want to improve their marks are not required to appear for the second examination.
Students who fail to secure the minimum 33% passing marks in a maximum of two subjects may also receive provisional admission to Class 11. Their admission will become final depending on their performance in the second examination.
