The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the Karnataka PGCET 2026 Round 1 counselling deadline for fee payment, seat confirmation, and college reporting. Candidates who receive a seat in the first allotment can now complete the required admission formalities until October 12, 2026.
Candidates must pay the prescribed admission fee within the revised deadline to retain their allotted seat. After successful payment, they need to download the seat confirmation slip or admission order from the KEA candidate portal. The deadline for downloading the confirmation slip is also October 12, 2026.
Candidates must then report to the allotted college with the required original documents within working hours on October 12, 2026. Failure to complete the reporting process within the deadline may result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.
The revised schedule applies to Karnataka PGCET 2026 admissions for programmes including MBA, MCA, M.Tech and other postgraduate courses. KEA has not announced any change to the choice entry process in this revision. Candidates should regularly check the KEA portal for further counselling instructions and subsequent allotment information.
