The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET SS Special Stray Vacancy Round seat matrix for admission to DM, MCh, and DNB Super Speciality programmes. Candidates participating in the final counselling round can check the available seats through the official MCC website.
The Special Stray Vacancy Round includes seats remaining vacant after Round 2 of NEET SS Counselling. The seat matrix provides information on courses, institutes, states, quotas, branches, categories, and available seats, allowing candidates to review vacancies before submitting their choices.
The Special Stray Vacancy Round is being conducted after the NEET SS qualifying percentile was reduced from the 50th percentile to the 30th percentile following a Supreme Court order dated September 17, 2026. As per the MCC schedule, registration closed on September 28, 2026, while candidates can complete choice filling until 12:00 noon on September 29. Choice locking is also available until 12:00 noon on September 29, 2026.
MCC will process the seat allotment on September 29, and the NEET SS Special Stray Vacancy Round result is scheduled to be released on September 30, 2026. Candidates allotted seats must report to their respective institutes between October 1 and October 6, 2026.
