IIT Madras launches certification programme in Applied AI and Machine Learning

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), in collaboration with IBM and ed-tech platform Emeritus, has introduced an Advanced Certification Programme in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This 11-month programme is designed to bridge the skill gap in AI and ML by providing professionals with practical, industry-relevant training. 

Led by esteemed faculty members, including Professor C. Chandra Sekhar and Professor Dileep A.D., the curriculum encompasses foundational concepts, advanced topics like Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), and real-world applications. Participants will engage in over 30 projects and case studies, utilizing tools such as TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-Learn, and the latest Gen AI models like Mistral. 

The programme offers a flexible learning approach with weekly recorded lectures, live masterclasses from industry experts, and a two-week capstone project. Upon completion, learners will receive certifications from IITM Pravartak and IBM, enhancing their professional credentials in the AI and ML domains.
