The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has inducted its largest-ever batch for the 2025–27 academic session, comprising 631 students across its full-time postgraduate programmes. Notably, over half of the cohort—59%—are women, marking a significant achievement in gender diversity for the institute. This includes the flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP), which has 497 students, with 59% women candidates. Additionally, the Post Graduate Programme in Liberal Studies and Management (PGP-LSM) and the Post Graduate Programme in Finance (PGP-F) each have 53 students, with 58% and 60% women, respectively.
The new batch also reflects a commitment to academic diversity, with 45% of students from non-engineering backgrounds. Furthermore, the cohort includes 15 international students from countries such as the USA, UK, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Germany, and Canada.
