The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the Maharashtra Agriculture CAP 2026 round 1 seat allotment result for undergraduate agriculture admissions. A total of 10,871 candidates received seats across nine professional degree programmes offered by four state agricultural universities and their affiliated colleges.
The counselling process records 23,803 registrations, while 18,993 candidates submitted their college preferences. Only candidates who complete choice filling are considered for the first CAP allotment. Of these, 3,147 candidates receive their first-choice college. Their allotments are marked as Auto Freeze, which requires them to accept the allotted seat.
Candidates allotted seats in round 1 must report to their respective colleges from August 17, 2026, to August 19, 2026. They need to complete document verification and other admission formalities. After verification, candidates must log in and select the Freeze or Float option by paying the Rs 1,000 admission acceptance fee.
BSc (Hons) Agriculture accounts for the highest number of allotments, with 7,878 seats. The round 2 available seat list and first-round cut-offs are scheduled for August 20, 2026. Candidates can submit round 2 college preferences on August 20, 2026, and August 21, 2026.
