The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati announces that it will conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. The official GATE 2026 website is now live at https://gate2026.iitg.ac.in, and the application process is set to begin in August 2025.
GATE 2026 is scheduled to be held in February 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple cities in India. The exam will cover 30 subjects and is open to students in the final or pre-final year of their undergraduate degrees in engineering, science, architecture, and related fields.
The application window will remain open for about a month, with a late fee option available for a limited time. Candidates need to register through the GOAPS portal, upload documents, and pay the application fee online.
