DHSE Kerala releases the SAY 2026 exam schedule for Plus Two students after the Kerala Class 12 result declaration. The Save A Year examination helps students who do not secure the required minimum grade in one or more subjects.
As per the schedule, the Kerala Plus Two SAY exam takes place from June 29 to July 3, 2026. Students who appear for the March 2026 Higher Secondary Examination as regular or compartmental candidates can apply for the SAY exam. The exam gives them a chance to secure D+ grade or above in failed subjects and become eligible for higher studies.
Students who already pass the Plus Two exam can also apply for the improvement exam to improve marks in one subject. DHSE also opens the revaluation, scrutiny, and photocopy application process from May 26, 2026. However, revaluation and scrutiny are not available for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics because these papers follow the double valuation system.
Key highlights:
- Kerala Plus Two SAY exam runs from June 29 to July 3, 2026.
- Failed students can apply for SAY exams.
- Passed students can apply for improvement in one subject.
- Revaluation, scrutiny, and photocopy process starts from May 26, 2026.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics allow only photocopy requests.
Students should visit the official HSE Kerala portal to check the detailed notification and application instructions. They should also contact their schools for SAY application forms and submission details.
