The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CBSE private candidate form 2027 for Class 10 and Class 12 students. Online registration started on October 8, 2026, through the CBSE private candidate portal. Candidates can submit the examination form without a late fee until October 23, 2026.
CBSE issued separate notifications for Class 10 and Class 12 private candidates on October 7, 2026. Eligible candidates include students under the Essential Repeat, Compartment, and Improvement of Performance categories, along with eligible candidates who failed in previous years as specified by CBSE.
Candidates who miss the regular deadline can submit the form from October 24, 2026 to October 30, 2026 by paying an additional late fee of INR 2,000. CBSE states that examination fees must be paid online. Candidates in India can use internet banking, UPI, debit cards or credit cards for payment.
Candidates must also upload the required photograph and signature while completing the application. CBSE private candidates will appear for the 2027 board examinations along with regular candidates during the main examination period.
