The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a new initiative to launch educational podcasts and digital content creation projects. Schools affiliated with CBSE have been asked to nominate students from Classes 9 to 12 for participation in this programme.
The initiative aims to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills among students while providing them with hands-on exposure to digital platforms. Through podcasts and digital content, CBSE plans to cover diverse educational topics, career guidance, and interactive discussions that will benefit learners nationwide.
According to the board, nominated students will receive guidance and training to prepare engaging podcasts and content under the mentorship of teachers. The project is expected to enhance students’ confidence, teamwork, and digital literacy skills, aligning with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
CBSE has asked schools to ensure timely nominations and provide the necessary support to participating students. The content developed will later be made available on CBSE’s digital platforms for wider use.
