The Indian Institute of Management Indore opened the CAT 2026 registration process for candidates seeking admission to postgraduate management programmes at the IIMs and other participating business schools. The online application window began on August 3, 2026, and remains open until 5 PM on September 15, 2026.
Candidates can visit the official CAT portal, select “New Candidate Registration,” and register with their name, email address, and mobile number. After OTP verification, they can log in, enter their personal and academic details, upload the required documents, select preferred IIM programmes and test cities, pay the fee, and submit the form.
The application fee is INR 2,700 for General, EWS, and NC-OBC candidates. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are required to pay INR 1,350. The fee is non-refundable and applies only once, regardless of the number of IIM programmes selected.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are required to have at least 45% marks. Final-year students and candidates awaiting their results can also apply provisionally.
CAT 2026 is scheduled to take place on November 29, 2026, in three sessions across nearly 170 test cities. Candidates can download their admit cards from November 4, 2026. Applicants should carefully review all details before submitting the application, as changes are not allowed after the fee payment is completed.
