The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP), has introduced changes to the AP Inter exams 2027, revising answer booklets, Biology OMR sheets and elective subject question papers. The revised arrangements apply to first-year and second-year students appearing for the March 2027 Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE).
According to reports, BIEAP Secretary P. Ranjit Basha issued a circular on October 15, 2026, instructing junior colleges to implement the changes. The board approved these revisions during its 78th meeting on September 18, 2026.
Under the revised guidelines, candidates appearing for general theory subjects receive a standard 32-page answer booklet. However, vocational course students continue to use the existing 24-page booklet.
For Biology examinations, first-year and second-year candidates receive one OMR sheet and a 40-page answer booklet. This replaces the earlier system of separate OMR sheets for Botany and Zoology. BIEAP also introduces separate question papers for Part II elective subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Civics, Economics, Commerce and History.
Junior college principals must inform teachers and students about the changes and ensure compliance with the revised examination guidelines. Candidates should follow official BIEAP notifications for further instructions regarding the AP Inter exams 2027.
