The Commissionerate of Higher Education, Andhra Pradesh, has extended the AP PGECET 2026 Phase 1 web counselling registration deadline. Eligible candidates can now complete online registration and pay the counselling fee until September 27, 2026. Candidates who have qualified through AP PGECET 2026, GATE or GPAT can participate in the counselling process for admission to eligible postgraduate engineering and related programmes in Andhra Pradesh colleges.
Following the extension, the remaining AP PGECET 2026 counselling schedule has also been revised. Online verification of uploaded certificates will continue until September 28, 2026, while registered and eligible candidates can exercise their web options from September 23, 2026, to September 29, 2026. Candidates will be allowed to change their submitted web options on September 30, 2026.
The AP PGECET 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment result will be released on October 4, 2026, based on the options submitted by eligible candidates. Those who receive a seat will have to complete self-joining and report to their allotted colleges between October 5, 2026, and October 8, 2026. Candidates should complete each counselling step within the revised deadlines to remain eligible for seat allotment.
