How is the JEE Main percentile calculated by the NTA?

Does the 100th percentile mean AIR 1 in JEE Main?
No. A 100 percentile does not automatically mean AIR 1. JEE Main is conducted in multiple shifts, and the highest scorer in each shift can receive a 100 percentile under NTA’s normalisation method.
