The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has launched the official website for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2027. The JAM 2027 information brochure is scheduled to be released on August 22, 2026, while the online registration process starts on September 5, 2026. Candidates can submit applications through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS).
The last date to complete JAM 2027 registration is October 12, 2026. Candidates need to register on JOAPS using their name, valid email address, mobile number, and password. The application process includes filling out the form, uploading the required documents, paying the application fee, and tracking the application status.
IIT JAM 2027 is scheduled for February 14, 2027, in two sessions. Chemistry, Geology, and Mathematics papers will be held in the forenoon session, while Biotechnology, Economics, Mathematical Statistics, and Physics will be conducted in the afternoon session. Candidates can appear for one or two test papers, but two papers must be scheduled in different sessions.
JAM 2027 scores will be used for admission to 89 postgraduate programmes across 23 IITs for the 2027–28 academic session. These include M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech.), MS (Research), dual-degree, and integrated postgraduate programmes.
