The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education extends the deadline for first-year Intermediate admissions for the 2026–27 academic session to August 15, 2026. The extension gives students additional time to join Class 11 courses at affiliated junior colleges across Telangana.
The revised deadline applies to government, private aided, private unaided, residential, welfare, and composite junior colleges. Colleges display information about sanctioned sections, filled seats, and available vacancies so students can review admission availability.
Admissions follow the marks or grade points candidates obtain in the qualifying examination. Junior colleges do not conduct separate entrance or admission tests.
The board also directs colleges to follow the prescribed reservation rules. The structure includes reservations for SC, ST, BC, EWS, physically handicapped candidates, NCC, sports, extracurricular activities, ex-servicemen, and defence personnel categories.
One-third of seats in every category remain reserved for girls in locations where separate girls’ colleges are unavailable.
