The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta achieves 100 percent summer internship placements for its MBA Class of 2026, marking another successful placement season. The highest stipend offered this year reaches an impressive Rs 6 lakh for two months, showcasing strong recruiter confidence and growing industry demand for IIM Calcutta students.
Over 180 recruiters participated in the placement drive, offering diverse roles across consulting, finance, marketing, product management, and operations. Leading firms such as Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, and Hindustan Unilever were among the top recruiters.
The average stipend for the batch also witnessed a significant rise compared to the previous year. The institute’s placement team and alumni network played a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination between recruiters and students.
