The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has inaugurated the Madan Mohanka Centre of Excellence in Case Method of Learning on its campus. The new centre is established to strengthen IIMA’s legacy of using the case study method as a powerful tool for management education.
According to the institute, the centre will focus on developing high-quality case studies, training faculty in case writing, and encouraging innovative teaching practices. It will also serve as a hub for research, collaboration, and dissemination of knowledge around the case method, benefitting students, educators, and professionals worldwide.
The initiative is supported by philanthropist and IIMA alumnus Madan Mohanka, whose contribution has helped the institute set up this dedicated facility. The centre aims to promote experiential learning, critical thinking, and decision-making skills among management students, in line with global best practices.
IIMA faculty members highlighted that the centre will not only enhance classroom teaching but also expand the reach of Indian case studies to international platforms.
